This is the newest big thing which has apparently been around forever. I am reading all over that Democratic Party Presidential Nominee John Kerry did not get the rise in his poll ratings after the Democratic National Convention in Boston, Massachusetts which other candidates have historically gotten after their conventions. All I can think is: who gives a shit? Not me. I am not convinced the country will be better off with Kerry as President. What I am relatively sure of is that it will make no difference to me. Sure, I hate Bush as much as the next guy, but I also hated Bush, Sr. And pussy-hounding, lying Clinton was no bargain as his replacement, no matter how much energy the man himself devotes to his own enshrinement.
Now we got Kerry with his crazy, ultra-wealthy wife. That sounds like a recipe for disaster. I say we cut to the chase and put Hillary in the White House and let the REAL Machiavellian race begin. I mean, compared to Bush and Kerry, Hillary is like the Ayatollah Khomeini compared to those regular Ayatollahs. So, unless Bush is coming to my house to send me to Iraq or some other unpleasant place, or having his IRS sue me for some unpaid taxes (oh wait, that IS happening) I say, One Nation Under God and Apathy for All. Also, I make it a habit to do the opposite of what P. Diddy says is good policy, and I see that his Didster is trying to get other youths like him to vote Bush out.
In sum, the evil we got is pretty bad, but the evil on deck may be just as bad. Now pass the bong and put on the Zeppelin.
