The Walkabout II by Val
December 30, 2004, New York New York, Brown Brothers
World Headquarters, the phone rings.
"Brown Brothers, it's me, the engineer. I'm in Red Bank, New
Jersey. T-Mobile approved me for a new cell phone. I didn't tell
my college friend I was coming, but I called when I got here and
his wife is on the way."
At this point we knew something was wrong. Soon we figured it out:
"I've drunk two Bass Ales and I'm drunk."
We inquired when he was coming back to New York.
"I'm not. I don't have my recording equipment, but maybe it's
supposed to be that way. I'm gonna keep going south. I want you to
sell my records and send me checks. I will email you an address.
Now I better go, I only have 800 minutes. I love you all."
